Melanie Broadwell

Melanie Broadwell has over a decade of diverse nursing experience, currently serving as an Emergency Room Nurse at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center since July 2018. Prior experiences include a Travel ER RN contract at Northern Navajo Medical Center, where duties involved high-acuity emergency care, and a role as Team Lead for a home health agency with LHC Group. Melanie's background also includes significant emergency department experience at Carolinas HealthCare System and Palmetto Health, where various responsibilities encompassed trauma, triage, and charge nursing. Additionally, Melanie held nursing leadership positions, such as Director of Nursing at Plastic Surgery Consultants, and has a foundation in health and fitness training from Personally Fit. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina, as well as an Associate Degree in Nursing from Midlands Technical College and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Columbia College.
