Carol Jones

Carol Jones is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system administration, database management, and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Business System Specialist at Southern Cross Care Queensland since September 2023, Carol previously held the role of Technical Lead at Centacare Brisbane, where a project for implementing a client roster system was undertaken. Carol's experience also includes significant contributions as a Senior Information Officer at the Department of Education and Training (Queensland), managing SAS Visual Analytics and SQL Server development. Prior roles include Database Administrator/IT Project Manager at Cerebral Palsy League, and IT System Administrator at Elders, further complemented by a foundation in research at the Attorney-General's Department. Carol holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computing and an Associate Diploma in Business from Queensland University of Technology.
