Dave Elmer

Dave Elmer has over 19 years of experience in finance and analysis roles. Dave currently works as the Director of Financial Performance at Southern Cross University, where they are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business intelligence functions. Prior to this, Dave served as the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Wyndham Destinations. Dave has also held positions such as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, Contract Senior Commercial Analyst at Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Brand Finance Manager at Billabong Australasia, and DSA/Acting Project Manager at Virgin Australia. Dave began their career as a Senior Business Analyst at Dominos Pizza Enterprises, where they provided financial analysis and support to the executive team. Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and contract negotiation.

Dave Elmer completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance at Griffith University from 1991 to 1994. Dave then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the same university and graduated in 2011 with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 1997, Dave became an associate member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, specializing in Accounting and Finance. In recognition of their 25 years of service, they received an award in 2022.
