Daniel C. has had a diverse range of work experiences. Daniel started their career as an Environmental Scientist at Catalyst Air Management, Inc. in 2008. In 2009, they joined AmeriCorps as an Energy Efficiency Technician. Daniel then worked at Southern Energy Management, starting as a Building Science Technician in 2010, before moving to roles such as Project Manager and Team Leader, Operations Manager, and eventually Director of Operations, Builder Energy Services. Daniel has been with Southern Energy Management since 2010 and continues to contribute to the company's mission of improving energy usage and building a sustainable future.

Daniel C. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina Asheville, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a HERS Rater certification from RESNET in November 2009. Daniel also holds a General Contractor certification in North Carolina, as well as in South Carolina, from the respective licensing boards for general contractors in those states.
