Foundations Manager at Southern Environmental Law Center

Denise Holman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in grant management and fundraising. Currently serving as Senior Grants Manager at The Trace, Denise oversees a $4M+ institutional giving portfolio, managing the entire grant lifecycle, including proposal development and reporting. In the role of Foundations Manager at the Southern Environmental Law Center, Denise leads a complex fundraising program while collaborating closely with various departments to align proposals with organizational goals. Previous roles include Senior Foundations Manager at the Center for Open Science, where Denise played a key part in the startup phase and handled various operational and HR functions, and Office Manager at M•CAM, where Denise managed payroll and assisted in recruitment and training. Denise's early career included administrative responsibilities at the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund, contributing to donor management and scholarship programs. Denise holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Bridgewater College.
