Maura Badoni

Maura Badoni has over 20 years of work experience in data analysis and research. Maura has held various positions in different organizations, starting as a Data Analyst at Pragma srl, where they conducted interviews, analyzed customer satisfaction survey data, and reported the results. Maura then worked as an Executive Assistant to the Director at the Juridical Studies Center for families and minors. Maura later joined the University of Rome "La Sapienza" as a Research Statistician, where they assisted in carrying out a project on the quality of life in the Province of Rome.

Maura then worked at the University of Sussex as a Data Research Analyst, providing statistical evidence for a project on economic challenges and cultural regeneration in coastal towns. Maura further expanded their career at East Sussex County Council as a Planning Research Officer, where they provided statistical evidence, data insights, and recommendations for policy-making and planning.

In 2016, Maura joined the University of Brighton as a Senior Data Analyst, managing data analytics projects, conducting surveys, and translating results into actionable insights. Maura then transitioned to a role as a Senior Statistical Consultant at Eurostat, leading and managing the implementation and modernization of data production processes.

Maura's experience includes a role as a Senior Data Analyst at EDF, where they developed a customer churn prediction model using machine learning algorithms to identify key characteristics of customers likely to switch suppliers. Their most recent position was as a Market Research and Insights Manager at Avon, where they led and managed quantitative and qualitative market research projects, analyzed consumer data, and provided actionable insights to support decision-making.

Currently, Maura is working as a Senior Research and Insight Lead at Southern Housing, utilizing their skills and experience to drive research and provide valuable insights for the company.

Maura Badoni completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Data Analytics from the University of Brighton from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Sapienza Università di Roma from 1993 to 2003, where they obtained a MSc in Social and Demographic Statistics.
