Richard White

Richard is the Executive Director Development at Southern Housing. Prior to this, he was Executive Director of Development and Sales at Optivo from December 2021.

Richard has extensive experience in land-led development and delivering high-quality design and place-making.

With over 32 years of experience in residential development, Richard started his housing career in local government. He then progressed into senior land, planning and technical roles with FTSE 100 Housebuilders Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon.

He moved to the housing association sector in January 2017 taking a role with Clarion. This led to him joining Optivo in 2019 as Director of Land and New Business.
