Kathy Dillard

Kathy Dillard is the interim executive director for alumni at Southern Illinois University. Kathy has more than 20 years of experience in fundraising and development, including their most recent position as director of philanthropy at Brehm Preparatory School, Inc. from January 2020 to September 2020. At Brehm, Kathy was responsible for developing and implementing the school's fundraising and gratitude plan, as well as facilitating connections between key community academic administrators, government officials, and the head of school. Kathy also assisted with organizing the annual family weekend dinner and auction and worked with other senior program staff and board members to establish fundraising goals. Kathy is a skilled fundraiser and has a proven track record of success, raising more than $7,000 for the school's Giving Tuesday Now campaign and more than $45,000 in donations during a virtual fundraising event.

Kathy Dillard has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and also attended Kaskaskia College.

They work with Carol Greenlee - Business/Administrative Associate Corporate Secretary of Foundation Board, Hal Smith - Executive Director, School of Medicine Foundation Office, and John Hostler - Executive Director of Advancement Services. Their manager is Jim Potter, Executive Director, University Communications.
