Rasit Koc

Rasit Koc is the Chair of Mechanical Engineering & Energy Processes at Southern Illinois University. Rasit has been in this role since August 1994. Prior to that, they were a Senior Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from July 1992 to August 1994.

Rasit Koc received their M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering/Ceramics from Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Rasit Koc reports to Xiaoqing Liu, Dean, College of Engineering. They work with Sanjeev Kumar - Interim Associate Dean, Tarnisha Green - Director, Success in Engineering Through Excellence & Diversity, and Spyros Tragoudas - Chair, Electrical & Computer Engineering.
