Shane Bennett

Shane Bennett is currently the Associate Director of Institutional Advancement at Southern Illinois University. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Development at SIU from December 2016 to October 2017. From 2008 to 2009, Shane was the Assistant Director at SIU and from 2004 to 2006 they were the Assistant Director of Intramural Sports & Sport Clubs.

Shane Bennett's educational career includes a Master of Science (MS) in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Recreation Administration from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

They work with James Zaczek - Chair, Forestry, Karen Jones - Chair, Plant, Soil & Agricultural Systems, and Marianne Shields - Assistant to the Dean - Finance (Business Manager II). Shane Bennett reports to Eric Brevik, College of Agriculture, Life and Physical Sciences.
