Samuel Black

Samuel Black, MPH, currently serves as the Associate Youth Development Director at the Southern Indian Health Council, overseeing youth development programs and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Previous experience includes managing tobacco cessation and substance use prevention programs at the San Diego American Indian Health Center, and providing technical assistance to California Indian Tribes as a Project Coordinator with ETR. Samuel's background also features roles focused on wellness promotion in communities, contact tracing during the COVID-19 pandemic, and grassroots advocacy for access to social services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Native American Studies from Dartmouth College.
