Nicolás Gavilanes Peña

Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions in educational technology. Since July 2010, Chris has been with SMART Technologies, focusing on the development of hardware and firmware for innovative interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, working on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
