Chris Whitis

Chris Whitis has extensive work experience in landscape architecture and design. Chris started their career as an Associate at Hawkins Partners, Inc. in 2003 and worked there until 2014. During this time, they gained valuable experience and knowledge in the field. In 2005, Chris founded www.sitephocus.com, an online image library of the built environment. Chris successfully ran this venture until 2013. In 2014, Chris joined Southern Land Company as a Senior Designer and later became the Vice President of Landscape Architecture in January 2020. Chris continues to excel in their role at Southern Land Company.

From 1998 to 2003, Chris Whitis attended Ball State University, where they obtained a BLA (Bachelor of Landscape Architecture) degree in Landscape Architecture.
