Sean Wood

Sean Wood has a diverse work experience that spans from 2011 to the present. Their most recent role is the Vice President Legal at Southern Land Company, which they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an In-House Counsel at the same company starting from October 2020. From 2018 to 2020, Sean worked as an Associate at Baker Donelson. In 2017, they served as a Summer Associate at Baker Donelson. Sean also gained experience as a Judicial Intern for Judge John T. Nixon in 2016. In 2014, they participated in the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Lab-on-a-Chip Design Project at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they developed a point-of-care device for HIV viral load testing in Africa. Sean has also worked as a Member Services Associate at James Creek Tennis Center in 2013 and as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. In 2012, they volunteered as a Cardiac ICU Volunteer at Grady Memorial Hospital. Finally, in 2011, Sean worked as a Tennis Coach in the Junior Development Program at James Creek Tennis Center.

Sean Wood completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology between 2010 and 2014. Sean later pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree at Vanderbilt University Law School from 2015 to 2018.
