Diane Lewis

Diane is responsible for the implementation of the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation’s loan funds. She brings over 25 years of experience in commercial and agricultural finance to SMIF. Her expertise in lending and credit analysis has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the Small Enterprise Loan Program and the continued execution of the Revolving Loan Program. She joined SMIF in 2000.

Diane holds a degree in finance from the University of Minnesota. She has supplemented her banking knowledge with several lending courses, as well as graduating from the Upper Midwest Economic Development Course, the Commercial Lending School, the Blandin Community Leadership Program, and the Dale Carnegie course.
