John Katz

John oversees the Technical Assistance for Loan Clients including financials/QuickBooks, payroll, business operations, HR, and much more. He also heads up the two Local Foods Peer Network groups. He has been at SMIF since 2011.

Previously, John spent nearly 20 years operating radio stations on the West Coast, lived on an island in the Caribbean nation of the Turks and Caicos for three years while a part of an executive team building a resort hotel, and has owned four small businesses.
