Ruben Chapa is a dedicated legal professional with experience as a Staff Attorney at the Education Law Advocacy Project at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, Inc., since September 2022. Previous roles include a law clerk and legal extern at the same organization and various positions at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, including Graduate Research Assistant. Ruben has also served as a Summer Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Dominic J. Negrón, a Call Center Supervisor and Bilingual Student Service Representative at Goodwill Industries of San Antonio, and a legal assistant at Maloney Law Group, PLLC. Additional experience includes teaching as a substitute teacher for San Antonio ISD and internships with the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. Ruben holds a Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Organizational Ethics and Compliance from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
