Cory Burgess

Cory Burgess is an experienced health and marketing professional currently serving as the Health Cards Supervisor at the Southern Nevada Health District since November 2016. In this role, Cory manages a team that processes applications for Food Handler Safety Training and Body Art Cards, while enhancing public communication based on customer feedback. Previous roles include Publication Specialist at the Health District, where Cory developed marketing campaigns and a responsive WordPress website for COVID-19 information, Director of Marketing at The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada, Inc., and Art Director for multiple publications. Cory holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Western Governors University.
