Phillip Pilares is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web development and online marketing. Currently employed at the Southern Nevada Health District since January 2016, Phillip has also held various roles such as Web Content Specialist, Web Developer at HOPSports, Inc. from January 2009 to December 2015, and Project Manager at CIS-One from August 2006 to January 2009. Additionally, Phillip worked as a Web Designer and Online Marketing SEO specialist at Natural Area Rugs from July 2004 to July 2006. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Batangas State University and is furthering education at the College of Southern Nevada.

This mission of the Health District is, “To assess, protect, and promote the health, the environment, and the well-being of Southern Nevada communities, residents, and visitors.” To this end, the Health District offers services and provides regulatory supervision that impact the public every day – from the food they eat and the water they drink, to the public establishments they visit, the businesses they operate and the requirements they must meet in order to work in certain industries such as food service and child care.
