Christina Morrison Martinez

Christina Morrison Martinez is a Research Microbiologist at the Southern Nevada Water Authority since June 2020, with prior experience as a Laboratory Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher. Christina has a strong foundation in Environmental Microbiology, having worked as a Graduate Research Associate and Undergraduate Research Assistant under Professor Charles P. Gerba at the University of Arizona from May 2015 to June 2020. Additionally, Christina served as a Graduate Teaching Associate, instructing multiple courses in Environmental Microbiology and Pollution Science. Christina earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Microbiology, along with Bachelor's Degrees in Chemical Engineering and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona.
