Southern Nevada Water Authority
Christopher Helda, P.E., MPA, serves as the Systems Operations Superintendent at the Southern Nevada Water Authority since November 2020, overseeing the daily production and distribution of potable water. Prior to this role, Christopher contributed to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada as a Committee Member on the Utility Coordination Committee from May 2012 to November 2020. Christopher's extensive engineering background includes positions at the Las Vegas Valley Water District from April 2006 to November 2020, where responsibilities encompassed the design of capital projects and management of emergency contracts in water distribution systems. Early in their career, Christopher held positions at Whitney's Water Systems from June 2001 to January 2006, focusing on water main installations and plumbing services. Christopher holds a Master of Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Public Management from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
