Dr. Mike Bernardo

Dr. Mike Bernardo, P.E. serves as the Enterprise Conservation Division Manager at Southern Nevada Water Authority since March 2023. Previously, Dr. Bernardo held various significant roles at the Bureau of Reclamation from August 2011 to March 2023, including Deputy Chief of the Boulder Canyon Operations Office and River Operations Manager, overseeing river operations programs, policy development, and water scheduling, among other responsibilities. Additional positions included Chief of Staff for the Lower Colorado Region, where advisory support was provided to the Regional Director, and Mechanical Engineer, focusing on engineering and project management functions. Dr. Bernardo holds a Doctorate in Public Policy, a Master's in Public Administration, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, all from reputable institutions, including the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and New Jersey Institute of Technology.
