Jon Castagnino

Jon Castagnino, MPA, is a seasoned video producer and educator with extensive experience in media and sports journalism. Currently serving as a Video Producer at Southern Nevada Water Authority since March 2020, Jon leads video production initiatives for a water utility that serves over 2 million residents. In addition, Jon has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas since October 2015, where responsibilities include designing and managing the sports journalism program and instructing various journalism courses. Previous roles include content producer positions at Southern Nevada Golf Association and USBookmaking, and freelance work with the Vegas Golden Knights. Jon began a career in sports journalism as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at multiple television stations, including FOX5 Vegas and KGBT-TV. Jon holds a Master of Public Administration degree and dual bachelor’s degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Athletic Training from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
