Kent Sovocool

Kent Sovocool is a seasoned professional in conservation research and management, currently serving as the Sr. Conservation Research Analyst at Southern Nevada Water Authority since December 2005, where Kent serves as the Principal Investigator and supervises a research team. Previous roles at the same organization include Senior Conservation Programs Analyst and Conservation Programs Coordinator, overseeing various conservation programs and significant studies. Kent's earlier experience includes work as an Inorganic Analytical Chemist at IT Corporation, a Physical Sciences Technician at the US EPA, and a Laboratory Coordinator at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Kent holds a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences and Geosciences from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Bachelor's degree in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management from the University of Montana.
