Troy Ivie is an experienced water system professional with extensive background in water production and treatment operations. Currently serving as a Water Production Operator II at Southern Nevada Water Authority since January 2022, Troy manages the operation of water transmission facilities, monitors control systems, and ensures equipment functionality. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Water System Operator for Orick Community Services District, where leadership and oversight of direct filtration water treatment were key responsibilities, as well as operating and maintaining construction equipment at Humboldt State University. Previous roles also include Water Treatment Plant Operator for the City of Trinidad. Troy holds Treatment and Distribution certifications in Water Treatment and Distribution from California State University-Sacramento, alongside a foundational education from the University of Idaho.
