Regina Buteau

Housing Director North at SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE SERVICES, INC

Regina Buteau joined Southern New Hampshire Services as a Housing Manager in 1998 with the then-new elderly housing site in Pittsburg. She previously held the elected position of Certified Municipal Town Clerk of Pittsburg and was a Legal Probate/Trust Secretary with a Concord law firm.

With the new site built in Ashland in 2008, Regina returned “below the notch” to hold the positions of Housing Manager and Housing Coordinator as the agency’s portfolio of elderly housing sites continued to grow in the Lakes Region and North Country. Her most recent position was a Housing Manager Training Specialist. She is a Certified Tax Credit Specialist.

By 2019 SNHS had acquired thirty-one housing sites necessitating two Housing Directors. Regina’s experience over 21 years with the agency in dealing with HUD regulations, Fair Housing Standards, and all of the requirements that go with managing and coordinating multiple properties make her a great fit for the Housing Director North position with 17 elderly housing sites, totaling 429 units, spanning from the Seacoast to the Canadian border.
