Alicia Robinson

Alicia Robinson, Ph.D., currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Southern New Hampshire University since September 2023. Previously, Alicia held the position of Project Director for Freedom Schools at the Children's Defense Fund from October 2020 to October 2023 and worked as a Training Consultant at The Prosperity Agenda from June 2020 to June 2022. Alicia also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign during the 2020-2021 academic year and spent several years as an Elementary School Teacher at Canaan Academy from August 2012 to May 2019. Earlier in Alicia's career, a role as an Ella Baker Trainer with the Children's Defense Fund was held from January 2008 to August 2011. Alicia earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Policy, Organization & Leadership and a Master's Degree in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, in addition to a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Tuskegee University, and a High School Diploma in Radio and Television from Lincoln Humanities/Communications Magnet High School.
