David Carrigg

David Carrigg is an experienced professional in game and simulation programming, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Southern New Hampshire University since August 2016, where David developed the campus-based B.S. program. Carrigg held the position of CTO and Senior Software Engineer at Skymap Games from March 2020 to December 2024, leading a 40+ person engineering department and collaborating with executive leadership on company objectives. Additional experience includes roles as Software Engineer at DEKA Research & Development, contributing to autonomous vehicle AI development, and as a Lead Programmer at Robot Loves Kitty, overseeing the technical development of the live video gameshow Upsilon Circuit. Carrigg's earlier positions included gameplay programming at Owlchemy Labs for Job Simulator and leading software engineering efforts at Retro Affect for the IGF-nominated game Snapshot. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University.
