Raquel Burnette

Raquel Burnette, Ed.D., currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Southern New Hampshire University since January 2017, where responsibilities include leading discussion boards and fostering student engagement in coursework. In addition, Burnette has been the Director of Human Resources at the Housing Authority of the County of Cook since July 2012, providing strategic guidance on employee relations, benefits, and performance management. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Human Resources, Vice President of Client Relations at Isiah International LLC, and Academic Coordinator at Florida International University. Burnette has extensive experience in the sports industry, having worked with the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers in managerial and executive assistant roles. Educationally, Burnette holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management, a Master of Science in Human Resources, and a Bachelor of Science in Management.
