Dan Flood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in maintenance and technical training within the nuclear energy sector. Currently serving as the Maintenance and Technical Training Manager at Southern Nuclear since April 2019, Dan has also held roles as Maintenance Support Manager and Fleet Maintenance Manager. Prior to this, a tenure at Andeavor included the position of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Superintendent, focusing on enhancing planning and scheduling processes for increased productivity. Dan's earlier career at Xcel Energy involved oversight of maintenance operations and management of personnel in both maintenance planning and scheduling. A veteran of the US Navy from 1983 to 2003, Dan achieved the rank of Senior Chief Machinist Mate and contributed to submarine performance assessments. Dan is an alumnus of Naval Nuclear Power School.
