Ho Nieh

Ho Nieh is a seasoned nuclear regulatory professional currently serving as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Southern Nuclear since March 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing licensing, regulatory strategy, and support for nuclear construction. Previously, Ho held various leadership roles at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, including Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation and Director of the Division of Reactor Projects, where significant contributions to nuclear safety and regulatory oversight were made. Additionally, experience at the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency and the International Atomic Energy Agency reflects a commitment to advancing nuclear safety standards globally.
