Tim Collart

Tim Collart is an experienced engineer specializing in nuclear engineering, currently serving as a Safety Analysis Engineer and previously as a PWR and BWR Fuel Engineer at Southern Nuclear since August 2015. Tim has a solid foundation in core design for both Pressurized Water Reactors and Boiling Water Reactors. Prior to this, Tim was a Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology where research focused on magnetohydrodynamic equations for plasma dynamics. Tim has also gained valuable experience through internships at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Idaho National Laboratory, where work included modeling and improving detection efficiencies. Tim holds a Master of Science and Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology and University of North Georgia, respectively.
