Mark Freeman

Mark Freeman is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in environmental reporting and outdoor media. Currently serving as a producer and host for Oregon Outdoors at KTVL-News Channel 10 since June 2018, Mark has also been a dedicated member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America since January 1993, having held the position of past president. Mark's journalism career began at Coos Bay World as a reporter from July 1986 to February 1989, followed by a long tenure as an environmental reporter and outdoor columnist at Mail Tribune since March 1989. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, specializing in Reporting and Editing, from San Jose State University, completed in 1986.
