Jonathan Marrero

Jonathan Marrero is an experienced digital marketing and communications professional, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Digital Properties at the Southern Poverty Law Center since April 2024. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Marketing Director at KIPP Nashville Public Schools from October 2023 to May 2024 and served as Digital Marketing Director at the KIPP Foundation from May 2019 to July 2023. Jonathan's extensive background includes marketing leadership roles at UnidosUS, where responsibilities encompassed online and mobile communications, and as Digital Director for Obama for America in Virginia, where Jonathan managed a team focused on digital strategy. Jonathan's career began at Democracia USA as New Media Manager, and prior experience includes service in the United States Air Force as a Tactical Air Control Party Journeyman. Jonathan is continuing education at Camden County College.
