Lauren Taylor has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Commercial Markets Manager for Renewable Implementation & Optimization at Southern Power since February 2016, after holding roles including Project Manager and Senior Engineer. Prior to this, Lauren worked at Mississippi Power from May 2010 to February 2016, where responsibilities included support for Major Account representatives and conducting rate analysis for large commercial and industrial customers. Earlier experience includes a role as Student Engineer at the University of Alabama's Industrial Assessment Center, focusing on energy conservation and waste reduction for manufacturing industries. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi.
