Robin Boren

Robin Boren is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in finance and operations across the energy sector. Currently serving as President of Southern Power since November 2022, Boren oversees daily operations for this subsidiary of Southern Company, which is a leading provider of wholesale energy solutions. Prior to this role, Boren held various significant positions at Southern Company, including Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, where responsibilities encompassed investor relations and risk management. Boren also served as CFO and Treasurer at Gulf Power Company, played a pivotal role in strategic acquisitions at Pivotal Home Solutions, and contributed to AGL Resources' merger with Nicor Inc. Educational background includes an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Accounting and Business Administration from Presbyterian College.
