Amanda Merritt Ed.d.

Amanda Merritt, Ed.D., serves as the Interim Division Director of Development & Innovation, Senior Leadership Coach, Mathematics Consultant, and School Improvement Instructional Coach at the Southern Regional Education Board since June 2012. Prior experience includes teaching in the Muscogee County School District from August 2004 to May 2012 and working as a copy editor for the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer from January 2001 to July 2004. Amanda earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University between 2018 and 2021, a Master’s of Education in Middle Grades Math and Science from Columbus State University from 2003 to 2006, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Auburn University from 1997 to 2000.
