Beth Day

Beth Day joined the Southern Region Education Board in 2012, bringing experience leading strategic communications in education and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining SREB, Beth served as vice president of the Atlanta Regional Council for Higher Education. For more than a decade, she consulted on strategic communications issues with nonprofit, higher education, government agency and financial services organizations, including the Georgia Council for Economic Education, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and ING Group. Previously, she served as director of public affairs for Georgia State University’s college of business. Beth holds a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Georgia and a master’s from Georgia State University.
