Kazi Kimiya has extensive experience in data analysis and research within the education and poverty alleviation sectors. Currently serving as an Analyst and Research Assistant in the State Services Division of the Southern Regional Education Board since October 2018, Kazi Kimiya's responsibilities include data collection, analysis, research publication, and stakeholder communication. Previous roles include a Data Analyst Intern at the Multi-Agency Alliance for Children, focused on improving educational outcomes for youth in foster care, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia State University, where grant data was collected. Kazi Kimiya's prior experience also includes significant roles at Innovations for Poverty Action, serving as both Senior Field Manager and Project Assistant, managing survey design and data collection for projects assessing impacts on the garment sector in Bangladesh. Kazi Kimiya holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgia State University and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka.
