Larry Taylor

Larry Taylor is currently a board member at the Southern Regional Education Board. Larry has had a long and successful career in finance, including serving as the chief financial officer of a publicly traded corporation and leading the initiative to take the company public. Larry has also served on the board of directors of several companies and organizations, including the Novaria Group, CMTC, Guided Compass Technologies, and the Institute of Directors in India. In their current role at the Southern Regional Education Board, Larry is responsible for coordinating all subsidiary consolidations, bank reconciliations, SEC financial reporting, PCAOB correspondences, IPO and secondary stock registrations, SOX compliance and internal controls.

Dr. Larry Taylor has a PhD in Executive Management & Business Strategy from the Drucker School of Management, an MBA in Business Administration from the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, and a BIE in Industrial Adminstration from the General Motors Institute at Kettering University. Larry also has a diploma in College Preparation from the Cranbrook Horizons Upward Bound Program and a certificate in Sustainability Reporting from the ISOS Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Program. Dr. Taylor is certified by the NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) as a NACD Director Certified and NACD Cyber Security Certified, by the Global Reporting Initiative as a Global Reporting Initiative Certified, and by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment as a Certified Lead Environmental Management Auditor.
