Robert Puckett

Robert Puckett serves as the Event Coordinator at the Southern Regional Education Board since April 2023. Previously, Robert held various positions at the American Academy of Religion, culminating in the role of Chief Scholarly Engagement Officer, where leadership was provided for the Academy's scholarly initiatives, including the Annual Meeting, Professional Development, and Publications. Robert's experience includes planning and executing large-scale events with substantial budgets, managing the Call for Papers process, and overseeing annual meeting logistics. An academic background includes a PhD in Religion from Boston University, a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Social Enterprise from Georgia State University, and degrees in Religion and Classics from Vanderbilt University and Dartmouth College, respectively.
