Michael Zielaskiewicz

Michael Zielaskiewicz is an experienced healthcare leader with a diverse background in nursing administration and clinical services. Currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at Southern Regional Medical Center since September 2017, Michael has previously held positions including interim Chief Nursing Officer at Central Maine Healthcare and interim Chief Clinical Officer at Johnson Regional Medical Center. Notable roles also include Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Portneuf Medical Center, where Michael oversaw the successful launch of a new 189-bed acute care hospital, and a significant tenure at St. Francis Hospital, characterized by multiple successful JCAHO surveys and the implementation of innovative nursing practices. Michael holds a Master's of Science in Nursing Administration from Texas Woman's University and an MBA in Healthcare Administration.
