Nadia Puga currently serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Gamma Eta Sorority, Inc. and as a Safety Marshall at Southern Scholarship Foundation, both positions held since January 2024. Additionally, Nadia is actively involved as a Student Ambassador at the UF Center for Inclusion & Multicultural Engagement and as a Mentor for the First Generation Leadership Program since October and August 2023, respectively. Nadia also plays a significant role as a Cultural Ambassador for the UF Mexican-American Student Association (MASA) and as the Vice President of Marketing for CHISPAS, contributing since June 2023. Previously, Nadia directed the Closing Ceremony for UF Hispanic-Latinx Heritage Month from June to December 2023 and served as a Peer Leader for UF Adelante. Work experience includes serving as a Server/Bartender at Margarita Island Mexican Restaurant from March 2022 to August 2023. Nadia is pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the University of Florida, following an Associate of Arts degree from Eastern Florida State College and a High School Diploma from Cocoa High School.

Since 1955 Southern Scholarship Foundation has helped thousands of students with outstanding academic abilities, good character and financial need realize their dream of a college education. Qualified students attending Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida State University, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee Community College, or University of Florida are awarded scholarships in the form of rent-free, cooperative living housing adjacent to their campus. Beyond rent-free housing, SSF is a living and learning community. The cooperative living program fosters leadership and instills essential life, professional, and leadership skills.
