Southern Soccer Academy
Devon DeLaMater has extensive volunteer and work experience, beginning with roles as a Summer Camp Counselor for the Muscular Dystrophy Association since 2015 and as a Volunteer Coach for the Boys and Girls Club in 2016-2017. Ongoing involvement with Southern Soccer Academy as a Soccer Referee since 2011 demonstrates a long-term commitment to sports. Additionally, experience as a Retail Salesperson at DICK'S Sporting Goods from January 2018 to August 2019 included responsibilities in merchandising, sales, customer service, and cashiering, alongside a brief role as a Junk Truck and Moving Specialist at College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving during the summer of 2017. Devon DeLaMater attended Wabash College in 2016-2017 and graduated from North Cobb High School in 2016 with an International Studies Diploma. Further education is pursued at Kennesaw State University.

Since 1988, Southern Soccer Academy (SSA) has sought to be the premier youth soccer club in the Southeast and to have a highly regarded reputation as a top club in USYSA Region 3. This commitment to excellence is reflected in our mission statement, our support of local high school soccer, and in our promotion of players to a college soccer experience. Mission Statement: To enhance the growth and participation of youth soccer by promoting player development and fostering healthy competition in an environment that is enjoyable and sporting for all participants regardless of individual ability as well as creating a more challenging environment for those players who strive to reach their fullest potential.
