Jonathan Hinton

Jonathan Hinton is an experienced business leader with a diverse background spanning various industries. Currently serving as a Director on the Board of Southern States Bank since February 2023, Jonathan is actively involved in multiple committees, including Compensation, IT, Asset/Liability, and Nominating and Corporate Governance. Previously, Jonathan founded and served as CEO of RavenVolt, where innovative microgrid solutions were developed and licensed across 40 states. As the founder and CEO of Hinton Labs, Jonathan provided management consulting services, advising on over $150 million in financing. Jonathan's career includes ownership of KHK Holdings, founding Apex Controls, serving as Senior Vice President of PowerSecure through its growth to $120 million in sales, and early roles in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and The Breckenridge Group. Jonathan holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University, along with additional executive education from Stanford University.
