Philip Rowland

Philip Rowland is a seasoned professional in operations and engineering, currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Southern States Chemical Inc since October 2017. Prior to this role, Philip managed the Savannah Acid Plant LLC from February 2011 to September 2017 and held various managerial positions at Tronox from December 2007 to February 2011, including Plant Manager and Manager of Engineering & Utilities. Philip’s career began at Imperial Sugar Company, where an engineering role was held from June 1989 to December 2007. Philip holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Parker College of Business at Georgia Southern University.
