William Moore

William Moore is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as a Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Southern University since August 2007, William has also held roles as a Professor of Chemistry between 2013 and 2015 and as Academic Vice Chancellor from 1989 to February 1998. Prior to these positions, William was the Academic Vice President at Texas Southern University from August 1985 to August 1988 and served as the Director of Title III Programs at Prairie View A&M University from 1982 to August 1985. William earned a PhD in Biophysical Chemistry from Purdue University (1963-1967) and a BS in Chemistry from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge (1961-1963).
