Adrian Cann

Adrian Cann is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in Linux engineering, application support, and development. Currently serving as a Senior Linux Engineer at Southern Water since September 2020, Adrian specializes in Linux system administration and application pipeline support for SMART Metering. Prior to this role, Adrian was the Director of Cann Computing Services Ltd, and worked as a DevOps Engineer at NATS and a Unix Engineer at CGI. With a strong background in software development at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Adrian honed skills in Python, scripting, and dashboard solutions, while also managing automated deployments and conducting training sessions. Earlier experience includes serving as an OS and Application Standards Engineer at Reuters, focusing on secure Solaris builds and application standards. Adrian holds a City and Guilds degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SEETEC.
