David Murphy

David Murphy is an accomplished investment strategy manager at Southern Water, having transitioned to this role in September 2022 after serving as a programme manager at Stantec where responsibilities included leading the Studies and Investigations Programme for AMP6. Prior experience includes significant roles in programme management at MWH Global and the Environment Agency, where David managed substantial projects, including a £538 million initiative on the River Thames and oversaw teams ranging from 25 to 30 staff. David's career also includes leadership at the Cabinet Office in infrastructure resilience and extensive experience in flood risk management with the Environment Agency.
