John Follows

John Follows is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment and programme management within the utility and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Investment Programme Management at Southern Water since July 2022, John oversees the effective execution of the investment plan, ensuring timely and beneficial delivery of projects. Prior to this role, John's tenure at Bristol Water plc included management of a £229 million investment programme as Head of Programme Management, and leadership of a 32-member team at NHS Property Services Ltd as Regional Head of Asset Management (South), where responsibilities spanned a diverse portfolio across southern England. Additional roles at NHS North Somerset, West Wiltshire District Council, and Tarmac plc further highlight John's expertise in capital projects, asset management, and operational leadership. John holds an MBA from The Open University and engineering qualifications from University of Leeds and Doncaster College.
